holllaaaa!!
anyway, been ages since i last bummed online. unless you count the days when i logged on to bid/ballot/complain about bidding/balloting. HMM. i hate balloting coz for some reason i've been extremely unlucky this week. out of the 5 choices i put for pol sci, i dont even get one, and instead end up with some really weird timeslot. anyway, school has been fun so far. only been having lectures though, so tutorials will start proper next week.
i have a strange feeling i am going to get lost on monday though. i even had to bring a map of NUS with me in the taxi to school yesterday.(iwaslatebloodyhellletsnottalkaboutcabFARE) lol. anyway, i really feel like knocking myself on the head for taking up that linguistic module this sem. everything is realllyy technical. and trust NUS to start off the lit module with conrad. hahaha. wouldnt have expected anything less though. (although i am still at chapter 3 of the secret agent. ): groan.)
OH AND I CANT BELIEVE I HAVE TO WAIT LIKE ANOTHER MONTH BEFORE I GET MY LAPTOP???? NOOOOOOO!! bloody hell. ): hopefully i wont really need it til then. SIGH.
and i realised my handwriting has become even worser-er than before! (if that is even possible) loll. anyway, my money has been slipping away very quickly. half the time, i dont even know what im spending it on. food, notes, etc etc. and if anybody out there is planning to get me an early christmas present (haha), please get me Bedford's Literary Glossary. i would use my borders vouchers, unfortunately i seem to have promised my bro a world of warcraft cd set or whatever the hell that thing is called anyway.
oh and btw, my red alert detector has found a new HSC. also known as tweety (according to pris.) hahhahha. and as gwen n anisha have reinforced a number of times, "when brin says someone is cute, he is probably not cute at all" HMPH. well, excuse me! *cough cough* okay whatever.
btw, i bought a green lantern t-shirt!!! yay!! (and why is it that no one has heard of him? he is more MAN than superMAN!! omg) okay sorry, cheap thrill.
but speaking of comic books, i watched 300 a couple of weeks ago on dvd, (have been stokedd to watch it for ages but never got the chance to) and it was AWESOMEEEEE. i like the whole greek war thing which is why i kinda liked troy (no, not because of brad pitt) and gladiator (no, not because of russell crowe. okay, maybe a little.) but the 300 was really cool to watch. i just liked the way they put together the whole thing. it did kind of have that comic book feel to it which was great. and how the hell did they manage to get EIGHT packs??? IS THAT EVEN HUMANLY POSSIBLE OMG? hahhaha. im guessing its photoshopped? and if that is an accurate representation of the greek society, i am hopping on a plane and flying to greece now. LOLLL.
